1st grade!! Ahh Where does time go? Macee is in first grade and she couldn't be more excited. That girl loves school so much, we just hope it stays like that. Her teacher is Mrs. Payne. Mrs. Payne is actually a friend of my mother in laws. She usually teaches 2nd grade, but because of the increase of kids she moved down to help 1st grade this year. Hopefully next year she will move back to 2nd grade. We LOVE her!! Macee actually went to the first day and was supposed to have a different teacher and Mrs. Payne stopped her and told her she was in her class. In her class they do a system that when you are on good behavior or help with something you get a coin. Well Macee had done really well and told me that she really wanted a Barbie that was in the "store". I told Mace to save until she had enough coins and to not spend her coins on silly things. Well 3 weeks into school she had enough to by the Barbie. The other kids in her class were dying that she got the Barbie, they had been buying little things every week and not saving. Macee was super proud of her accomplishment. We are proud too Mace!! Keep up the good work!!

I told Macee that on her actual birthday she could go to Outer Limits and take 1 friend. So she chose her BFF Odessa. Seriously I don't think they slowed down for 2 seconds!!

This keyboard was pretty cool for Macee to get it because it was Grandma Janna's. It was in new condition still and she also got lots of books that were Janna's.

So I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not old enough to have a 7 year old. Most days I feel like I'm still a teenager not almost 30!! ugh!! So depressing to think about!! lol Well my sweet little girl decided that she wanted a party at our house this year which was a great idea other than our house isn't very big!! Luckily the weather was pretty decent so we could be both in and out and we weren't all squished inside. She got so much fun stuff from her friends and family. Most of her stuff was Hello Kitty and she got lots of books. She is quite the little reader these days so it is always nice to have a few new books!! Thanks to everyone that made her feel so special with all the "Happy Birthdays" between Facebook and phone calls she felt loved to say the least!! Happy Birthday Moo Moo we couldn't be more proud of the little woman you are becoming!! Love you!!

weekend of the fourth

We had a great Fourth of July. We were so busy I'm not even sure if we had a chance to sleep. We startd out by going to the farmers market in Idaho falls where Quentins dad has a business that does produce and we went and suprised him. After we walked around with our friends Amber and George and their 2 kiddos we went to lunch and then did some shopping. Later that evening we went to Amber's parents house kind of on a whim and the kids played in the water. Saturday night we watched the MMA fights at my parents house and then went home to rest for a few hours. Sunday we went swimming with our friends Cliff and Trudi and Trudi's boys Kai and Kaleo. We all got some color but not too bad! We woke up early on Monday to go fishing with Cliff and Trudi and the kids. We spent lots of time out in the sun and decided to go home after the guys caught 7 fish. We went back to our house and got things ready for a big BBQ and fireworks that night. We had such a great time and enjoy spending quality time with all of our friends! I hope we get to do some more fun stuff outside this summer.

My kids were so excited to go see the baby animals. Race kept telling everyone that we were going to uncle Kendalls house. haha Both of my kids love animals. I like them, but at other peoples houses! There was bunnies, calves, chicks, snakes, horses, ok I can't remember what else, but the kiddos had a great time. It makes me miss helping my Grandpa on the farm when I was younger. I would give almost anything to help him feed them one more time! No Kendall this does not mean that since you have Grandpas farm I want to come help with chores!! haha

Macee just got done with her bowling season and boy am I glad!! lol She had a good year and she ended up with a high game of 107!! I can't remember her average, but it was in the 70's. Her league had one game and they used bumpers. Hopefully nest year she will be good enough to bowl the bigger league, but they don't use bumpers. She had alot of fun and I think Quentin did too!! haha

I am beyond ready for summer or at least spring!! This coming from the girl who sweats more than a.......I don't know something that sweats ALOT!!! haha My kids are sick of being cooped up and they want something new to do. We have a friend over every other Thursday night while his dad bowls with Quentin. So I decided to venture out of my bubble and make homemade playdough. I was so impressed with how easy it was. Howdoesshe.com had a great and easy recipe. I love that website have you ever been?? You should probably go......NOW!! Seriously these women are amazing. I can say that because I know one of them and she is beyond amazing!! Anyways here are some pictures and the recipe!! Once again THANK YOU!!

Here is the recipe:
1c flour
1c water
1/4 c salt
2tsp. cream of tarter
1Tbls. vegetable oil
4 drops food coloring

Mix it together on medium heat. Stir it until a ball forms. Then kneed it until it's smooth and let it cool.

Hahahahaha anyone that knows my little man knows "he can't like big boy underwear." Guess what he is wearing them today!! It's not going the way I wanted, but I'm hoping he gets sick of peeing his pants every couple hours. So, if anyone has any great potty training advice I would love to hear it!! In the mean time I should probably go change a wet butt or alteast get ready to!!

Race got to have a special birthday party this year as well!! We had lots of friends and family there to celebrate with him. He loves the bowling alley so we thought we would go to Tough Guys Lanes!! Everyone had a great time bowling it was a first for alot of the kids. Poor Race had been sick for a week by that time so he wasn't as perky as usual!! I told him that when he turned 3 he had to start wearing big boy underwear. He wasn't having that at all. I tried for a couple of days to have him wear underwear and he would just pee and not even care!! So I guess we will potty train him when he goes to school!! hahaha

I know Macee turned 6 in October, but atleast I'm getting some pictures up for you to enjoy!! lol We told Macee this year that she could either have a "big party" or she could have presents and friends at our house. She obviously chose wisely because she didn't even know we didn't get her much!! She received lots and lots of gifts from her friends and family that came to the party!! She had such a fun time with all the kids running around and hardly eating anything!! She is so spoiled!! I can't think of a better way to spend your 6th birthday then at Outer Limits!! The theme was going to be zebra and hot pink, but she changed it right before I made the invites to pirates and pink!! What a wild woman!!

Ugh!! What a way to start out a new blog post!! lol I dont have any pictures to upload......again!! It is not because I haven't taken any because believe me I've taken a couple hundred of my cousins playing basketball. We have been kinda lazy and I think in a "winter slump". Well at least I know I have! I promised myself that I wouldn't let myself this year and here I am. Ok so enough of the depressed Tara! I have been cleaning out my closet today and can I just tell you how crazy I've let it get overflowing in scrapbooking supplies. Holy moly it is possible that I could open my own store soon!! haha The worst part is that I can't even remember the last time I scrapbooked!! uh oh yeah it makes me sick to think how much money I have invested and not been using my investment. I think that I need to change that really quick!!

For Christmas we got a Kinect and can I tell you what a good bargaining tool it is with my kids. i can get them to a lot of things they would not regularly do just by saying the word "KINECT" hahaha I love it. Actually Macee is playing right now because she let me do her hair cute and get dressed!! hahaha It's the simple things in life that make me happy today!! Race is pretty entertaining to watch as well. They really suprised me at how well they do on it. I'm hoping that the Easter Bunny will bring them a new game though. The kids are getting so big and getting smarter every day. Race is quite the talker he repeats EVERYTHING!! It's gotten me in trouble a couple times. I forget that I have a parrot on my shoulder! lol He is still hatin the thought of potty training and quite frankly so am I. He loves to hide right after I ask him if he want "big boy undies" on and then he cries forever when I try to put on underwear. Gotta love him!! Macee is excelling in school right on target. She has started reading a little bit I'm not sure she really knows what she's talking about but it is cute to hear her sound things out. She loves to go bowling on her league, but her average is slowly going down. I'm thinking it is a combo of her kinda being bored and her dad trying to teach her. He has a hard time not yelling at her because he forgets that she's just learning and he already knows how to bowl.

As for Quentin and myself not much is going on. Quentin just had some vacation time to burn so he was home with the kids and I for a week. It went alot better than I thought it would. I thought he would be nagging the whole time, but he was a lot more patient than I thought. I was however ready for Monday to come so he was out of my hair. I mean that in a loving way!! He is still bowling his league and I think he is having a lot of fun because one of his friends gets to bowl with him every other week. I have just been working and being mom. I am trying to figure out how to do a budget because I would really like to go on a vacation sometime in the near future. We'll just have to see how that goes. Hopefully next time I blog I'll have something fun to say and some great pictures, but for now this is what ya get!!

Man my little Race dog is getting so big and naughty!! We always joke that he's lucky he's so cute because I would sell him!! Actually most days I would give him away, but he sure knows how to melt your heart too!! I love when he comes and puts his chubby little arms around my neck and tells me how much he loves me then gives me a big kiss!! He is such a fun little boy and he sure keeps us on our toes!! Oh and one more thing if anyone wants to potty train him you will be seriously blessed in heaven!! WINDY CITY CHICAGO CHI-TOWN

I was so lucky to be able to go to Chicago with my Mom my Aunt Stephanie and my brother Tosh. Well ok Tosh lives there so that is the reason we went. I couldn't have traveled with better people!! I hadn't been on a plane in almost 15 years. I was a nervous wreck and kept losing my stomach with the turbulance (didn't puke!!) My mom and Steph kept teasing me. I did alot better on the the way home though and I decided that I want to travel more maybe that will encourage me to get 'stuff' paid off. Ok back to the vacation.......we ended up buying a Chicago Go Card which gets you into 30 attractions for 3 days (they have them in lots of big cities). It ended up being alot cheaper than if we paid for each attraction on it's own and it got you to the front of the line. It saved us alot of time waiting at the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum.

We really wanted to try lots of 'different' foods. My mom and I watch alot of Diners Drive Ins and Dives on Foodnetwork and we wanted to find a couple places to go.

This is Fried Catfish from Glen's Diner. It had Shrimp Stuffing on the bottom of it and it came with a spicy sauce to dip in. It was to die for!! Since then I've hat fried catfish at 2 different places tying to compare and I can't find one that even compares.

HOT DOUG'S!!! They are on the Food network show as well. They make all there sausages ans dogs there. They have lots of different kinds that were pretty fun to try. I didn't take any pictures of them because Tosh kept telling me I looked like a Japanese Tourist. In my defense I only took 170 pictures in 5 days that's not that bad.......right?? hahaha

At the Field Museum they had the "Man Eaters of Tsavo" they are the lions form the movie The Ghost in the Darkness. I still haven't seen it, but my aunt said it was one of her favorites so I think I need to search it out!!

The Navy Pier had lots of cool little shops and we went on an awesome architectural cruise. It was part of our pass so We got to walk right on and relax as we heard some of the history of the buildings in Chicago. There are so many cool buildings with detail beyond imagine. Our tour guide had an awesome personality and kept it interesting the whole time.

About a year ago the Sears tower was renamed Willis Tower. Most of the people from Chicago still call it the Sears Tower however. It was like 100+ stories high and it sways up to 3 feet I believe I guess I should have listened better on our cruise!! oops!! They have a place where you can stand out over the city on a clear platform it was pretty intense.

The first thing we ate in Chicago was........Chicago Stuffed Pizza from Giordanos. It was the cheesiest pizza I had ever eaten. I couldn't believe how yummy and filling it was. It was just as good cold that night I think.

You know we had to go to Oprah. It is her last season and we out in for her ticket 'raffle' so we could get on her show, but no such luck!! darn that would have been awesome.

Giada De Laurentiis!!!! Holy Smokes!!!! If you know my mom and myself very well you would know she is one of our all time favorite chefs. That is why we both look like we just won the lottery!! We obviously were grinning ear to ear!! I couldn't believe it how did we get so lucky to have our picture taken with GIADA?? She was very nice and was so excited to have our picture taken together! Her smile and personality were amazing!! P.S. I HATE this picture of me!!

For my friend Amber I had to have my picture here!! She is a Louis Vuitton fan and so I had to rub it in that I would be by a store. We did walk down all of Michigan Avenue aka The Mag Mile. There were lots of big spenders there!!

I have decided that I would really like to go back!! It was an awesome experience. Although I missed my babies and hubby at home it was so nice to get away for a few days!! I seriously can't wait to win my millions in the lottery (going to start playing now) so I can go back!! Thanks tosh for letting me be a tourist with you even though you kept yelling at me for popping my gum and taking lots of pictures!! Can't wait to go back!!

Fishing

We had lots of fun outdoors this year. I couldn't remember if I posted these pictures already and I didn't want to hunt for them on here! I figured they were cute enough to post again anyway!! We went out to Burch Creek. the kids and I had been out there for the Fourth of July weekend with my family, but Quentin really wanted to go out there so loaded the kids and went on our way!! I don't have pictures of the fish but there we lots caught!! We also went to a lake for a family reunion with Quentin's side of the family. I'm pretty sure it was Lake Walcott!! Living in Idaho is so nice because we get to enjoy the outdoors!!

Oh boy have we been busy!! Bowling on Saturdays and Thursdays, Quentin and I both working and Macee having after school activities for her family, and all the other errands and crap we have to do!! We finally got some snow here in Idaho and I couldn't be happier although I'm a little nervous because we are supposed to go to Utah (just Quentin and myself) to watch a Jazz game. If the roads stay bad then I guess we will have wasted $120, but I think we should be ok I'm sure Quentin will just drive the truck!!

Macee got a haircut a cute little a-line and her hair looks so much better now! She is loving school so much and I really hope that she keeps up the good work! She has 2 boys fighting over her at school and I think she kinda likes it! haha We have been busy with after school activities. We had BINGO night a couple weeks ago and one of the boys that likes her was there and told her "Macee when they call out beautiful girl they are talking about you!" haha then he wanted to dance with her and kept telling her he loved her! (I think he was happy his competition wasn't there.) Then last week we had a reading night at school and they had different people from the community come and read books about their professions both kids loved it! Macee really loves reading with me and got a Pizza Hut Book It and tickets to ISU sporting events for reading so much in October.

Race is WILD to say the least! He is quite the entertainment while Macee is at school. He loves to give me huge hugs and tells me "mom you my best friend ever" my heart melts everytime. I just hope he keeps loving me because I have a feeling he'll quit once he gets bigger! He loves to play with the dogs well I guess it's really more like terrorizing them! He is starting to play with the Fisher Price Little People and he has them talk to each other, it makes me laugh because it is so random!! haha Race still loves his cars, monster trucks, cycles, wheelers, and really anything with a motor.

I took some new pictures of my kids a couple of weeks ago but because I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to post them. I went to one of my favorite spots in Pocatello and as always got some amazing pictures. It was a perfect day and everything just kinda fell into place. Don't worry about us we are still alive. I have been busy with work and my kiddos and didn't want to take the time to upload pictures and all that jazz. I am getting ready for Macee's 6th birthday we are celebrating with a party at Outer Limits here in Poky! Macee started bowling a few weeks ago and is really liking it (I think Quentin likes it more)!! She has been pretty busy with school and homework and bossing Race around. Race has been busy getting out all the toys and blaming it on sissy even when she has been at school all day, that's a boy for ya!! He has enjoyed when sissy is at school cause he doesn't have to fight with her and gets whatever he wants most days!! He has just started sleeping in his own bed finally!! Quentin is bowling and is actually averaging above 200 again. Last year was not so good for him he struggled all year (it was the first year averaging under 200 since I met him almost 10 years ago.) He has stayed really busy with Coke and is still really liking it. i hate it because he doesn't get home until I have to leave for work. YUK!! Speaking of my work I have been working alot lately which is great since I wanted extra money for my trip to Chicago next week, but it's crazy shifts. Some days I'll work a graveyard then the following day i have to be at work at 6am. So I have been having a hard time sleeping. They are lucky I can function on little sleep because I'm a mom!! We can't wait for Halloween because the kids love it and because that means the HOLIDAYS are here!! yay!! I'm actually doing pretty good this year I haven't gotten out and Christmas CD's yet!! hahahaha

It's that time of year again and I'm so ready for it!! I love Fall it is by far my favorite time of year!! I get to start wearing clothes that normal people wear and not sweating profusely!! With that it also means its time for some new family pictures. Don't get me wrong I love pictures of my family, but I hate all pictures of me. Oh well!! I love hanging pictures of my family in my home that is what keeps me going most days!! I love that I can get out some hot apple cider and I can start thinking about Christmas. I LOVE LOVE LOVE FALL!!!!! It tis by far the best time of year. Don't get me wrong I like Spring too, but it seems as though we don't really get it here in Idaho anymore. I think all we get here during Spring is rainy days and I get super depressed. Summer is too hot unless I'm at the swimming pool and it could quite easily brake the bank!! So I welcome Fall with open arms and I get to start functioning like a regular person. Although I do loss my husband this time of year that is something I'm willing to do!! hahahaha I hate watching football on tv and that is one of his favorite things to do. I'll go watch them in real life because I can people watch with the best of them, I love to cheer real loud, and act crazy. HELLO FALL!!!!

Macee graduated from preschool in May and I'm finally putting up pictures I know!! ahh life gets busy. So I decided that since she is gone today and had her first day at Kindergarten I would post about one door closing and another one opening. Macee loves school so much and I hope it keeps up, though if history repeats itself she will maybe be there for social reasons only like her mom and dad!! hahahah oops!! Macee loved going to preschool, but she was excited to ride the bus and go to Kindergarten with the older kids. She even gets to ride the bus with one of her best friends that is is first grade!! What a lucky girl. She is in full day 2 days one week and 3 full days the next. She has been so excited about her skinny jeans she can barely handle herself she even has new black boots to wear with them. She has quite a few kids from our neighborhood in her class so I'm sure she'll do just fine with out mom and Race all day. Although I'm not sure race and mom will do so well. It has been a long day already!! grr Oh well I'm going to try to get Race into storytime at the library so that should be quite fun!! Well feels like fall is right around the corner and I'm sooooo Happy about that!! Yay here's to kindergarten and hoping it goes smooth!!

Island Park/Yellowstone

We went to Island Park and Yellowstone for Lbor Day weekend. It was the Goodwin Family Reunion. We got to go up a couple days early and stay in a cabin that was really nice. My brother Tosh flew in from Chicago for the weekend and it was fun to hang out with him. Macee and Race were so excited to have big sleepovers in the cabin with lots of cousins. We got to see lots of Buffalo and Elk/Deer (I don't really know the difference!!) Quentin was able to catch his first fish from a boat out on Henry's Lake so he was pretty excited!! We had a lot of fun and i hope we can do something like this every summer. I have the best family around!!

I have the best family!! We are always doing fun things together and I love it and so do my kiddos. We like to spend time outdoors riding fourwheelers, fishing, or playing games. We always have a great time, but we are a little to competative sometimes. We have started making the 4th of July into a big deal, well because it is. My uncle Kendall is so good with my kids and he loves having them around him. My kids think that Kendall and his family are the best. My aunt Steph has raised her kids to be very good with kids and they are such good sports when I ask them to chase Race around or go help Macee reach something. They are always the first ones to jump up and help me when i need it. I love that they invite us to go and hang out with their family or when they call me to tell me they miss my kids. Anyways, I got kinda sidetracked there with how amazing my family is!! hahahaha So we have been doing lots of fun events for the 4th of July for the last couple of years and it's fun to be a part of them.

AHHHHHH!!

Keegan wants to be like David Beckham!! So he tried to play soccer........I'm thinking he needs to stick with baseball and basketball!! hahahah

We have made it an annual event to go out to Steadman's sod farm where they have an awesome homemade water slide/slip n slide. This year it started our Fourth of July festivities. My kids loved it they just ran and played the whole time. Macee and Daisy got quite the workout. They ran up and down probably 50 times. They had so much fun. Race loved jumping on the trampoline, swinging, and he went down the slide quite a few times. Quentin got to come out this year and he played soccer with the boys for a little while. He ended up being sore for almost a week from it. I wish I could feel bad for him but it's just not in my nature!! hahahahahah I was pretty proud though because the boys made a comment about how good Quentin was at soccer. He played in high school and wore bumble bee striped socks (so I hear)!! We had one issue when we were there. Macee had to go potty so my Aunt Steph told Macee to go over the hill and there was a cement building and the girls bathroom was right inside. Well somewhere along the way Macee got confused or something because I came around the house to Macee squatting on the peoples back porch. OOPS!!! hahahaha that's my girl!!

We have had a great summer!! We have been super busy playing while dad is at work!! My kids have really become brave in the water. I think Macee might be half fish!! We are very lucky to have great family and friends that join us at Ross Park almost every week. We've had multiple sunburns and as soon as it doesn't hurt we are back at the pool. I hope that my kids enjoy doing things like this as much as I do.

So it's been a bad day for me......AGAIN and I'm finding cute pictures to look at of MY KIDS helps me!! We have had horrible internet/wireless router connections lately and it makes me CRAZY!! I feel like we pay good money for the stuff and we get crap in return!! Same goes with our Culligan water softener. We bought it 6 years ago and it's been CRAP!! We paid almost $2000 and it has been repaired many times, but they don't have record of all the times so there is nothing that they can do we are out of warranty!! So it is going to cost me out of pocket!! Are you kidding me?? Then to top it off I cut my toe in Jensen's Grove and have been wondering if I should get a Tetanus shot. UGH!! Hopefully one of these days in the near future I can pull myself back together!!

I follow quite a few blogs and I can't help but to be thankful for my beautiful children. I have my days when I get way to upset and angry with them, then I read a blog about how someone lost a child and I get so mad at myself. Children are such a special blessing from God. It really amazes me the things that they teach us. Mine have been teaching me that my patience is really thin and I need to relax and enjoy the things around me. My children are amazing, healthy, funny, adorable, cuddly, I couldn't ask for better kiddos.

The kids decided that they wanted to ride the grandpa horse at uncle Kendalls. So they put a halter (is that right?? I don't know!!) on him and they took turns going around and around!! Macee and Race ask me all the time if we can go back and ride again. We've been back quite a few times but haven't had the chance yet. It kills me that Race and Macee liked riding I thought they would both chicken out after the horse started walking!! hahaha This would be another one of the reasons I would love to move back to Blackfoot!!

We went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo on Father's Day. It was the perfect temp to walk around and not melt right on to the sidewalk. The kids loves all the animals as we were walking around they both kept asking where the zebras were. I guess thats partially my fault I'm a sucker for animal print and lately it's been heavy on the zebra!! hahahaha While we were there Race also fell in love with the tiger. He made us watch the tiger sleep for about 15 minutes!! I guess we will be visiting the zoo alot more this summer!!

On April 15th I was working with hopes to get off at noon and go pick up my babies. When I got off of work I had lots of missed calls on my phone from my mom. I hurried and called her back and she told me that she was almost to Pocatello and asked where I wanted to meet her. I asked her what was going on and she proceeded to tell me Race fell up the concrete steps at Grammy's house. We took him to the pediatric office and got 5 stitches. He did so good I'm not sure he even cried at the office while getting them, but don't worry I cried a whole lot!! They gave him a Superman cape (a pillowcase behind him with his arms in it) and laid him back on my mom I was wanting to pass out and didn't think I could do it. He was so brave, I don't think he moved a muscle the whole time. When we got home he wanted to run and play and every little while he would tell me "mom hurt" and point to his eye. I am sure this won't be my last trip to get stitches with him although I hope he waits ATLEAST 2 and a half years again before we go back for more!!

I love that I have cute cousins!! It makes it easy to take pictures of them and I don't even have to edit them. (not that I really know how to do that!!) Kylee has now graduated and Keegan is a senior. Where does time go?? I am really starting to feel old!! These two are both great examples to both my children and myself. I couldn't have asked for better people in our lives. I love them dearly and wish Miss Kylee luck as she takes the next step and goes out on her own to college. Although she won't be very far away it will be a great experience for her and I know that she will grow and learn from it.

We had a great time once again out at Summit Creek. It always brings back great memories of my Grandpa Keller. He would be very disappointed if his tradition ever quit happening. There is so many of us that go know and look forward to going that I doubt we'll have a problem with that. We even had a new family join us this year the Lund's and they were so much fun!! I look forward to this day every year. I start talking about it probably in January!! I love it!! We always have way too much food and fun and usually too much rain and even snow. We pack more than enough of everything, but some needed more clothes this year on the day we came home only a few of us avoided the creek. We took many long rides on the fourwheelers and Race got his fair share in for sure!! I was very worried that my little man would be in the creek but he wasn't really interested but to fish a little with sissy!! We had the fire going most of the time and it kept everyone nice and warm. We had a huge circle of people around it the entire time. This is one of the traditions that I hope my kids will remember because it means so much to me.

Wow my little girl is growing up!! Macee lost her first tooth, by lost I mean Grandma Kerry YANKED as hard ad she could and the tooth went flying!! Grandma told her she wouldn't pull it out that Mace could just pull on the floss a little bit to get it looser and she could pull it out on her own. My mom has OCD about teeth if it's loose pull the SOB out already!! She is known as the tooth puller in our family. But if my mom wouldn't have gotten it out we would have had to make a visit to Amber and George's house and Amber would have gotten it for sure!! (she's a dental hygienist, and the tooth puller in our little group of friends!!) It is so fun to hear Mace talk because she has a little lisp now and I'm loving it. She has to show everyone that she sees and I'm not joking she told the Wal Mart greeter and I was already in the produce and she was still yelling to her about it!! AHHH!! The tooth fairy was very generous to her for her first tooth. She got mouthwash, toothpaste, floss, and money!! LUCKY GIRL!! I can't wait for her to lose more teeth......another one is loose good thing grandma is leaving to Boise this weekend!!

Hopefully I'm out of my funk. We had a great weekend!! Macee had cheerleading on Saturday at Keegans ball game. She thought she was a real cheerleader and she had soooo much fun!! Race just enjoys watching the ball game and seeing all his cousins. He got to go out with uncle Kendall when they were doing the starting lineup last week and you would have thought he was going to play with them he had a smile from ear to ear!! He sure loves his uncle Kendall alot!! I am so proud of Macee she did so good I couldnt believe it. She really wants to do more cheerleading and dancing so well have to see what fall brings hopefully more money so she can do both!! haha fat chance right?? Oh well I guess we'll figure it out!! I'm totally in a "FUNK" again!! No energy....don't want to clean or cook....I really don't want to do anything except spend money and then just let whatever I bought just sit there!! UGH!! I have a puppy that I swear isn't potty trainable my basement is ruined by her pee smell seriously gross but she chews up the puppy pads!! I'm on the verge of going crazy. I guess I'll atleast get to see my brother and dad everyday at State Hospital. (they work there) hahaha!! I guess I need to buck up but I'm not really sure how to do that when I feel so (excuse my language) shitty!! The worst part is that I hide inside because I'm so freaking embaressed about it. So thats why I turned to my blog I thought that maybe if I let it out there that maybe I could get over it. I sure hope so I'm not sure how much more I can take. I feel like such a loser!! I have so many things to be thankful for but I'm lost. Hopefully my next post will be a bit more upbeat. I have lots of fun things to post about but I don't want to do it right now!! UGH!!

We had another great Christmas. It is so fun as the kids get older they get more excited that Santa has come to see us. All Macee wanted was a new Liv doll so anytime she was naughty i reminded her about Santa!! It was nice!! Race got more trucks and cars and fourwheelers than you can imagine!! He had lots of fun opening presents. Macee got lots of dolls (2 Liv dolls) barbie clothes and lots of other things. If I listed everything they got we would be here for days!! My big thing this year was a sewing machine and it has been put to use already with many projects to come hopefully!! Quentin got a new jacket for outside work that is really nice and 1/4 beef!! We were really spoiled!! I'll post a new blog when I get more motivated I just wanted to get a glimpse of what we got. Take care!!

I can't believe it's already been 2 BIG years!! Poor boy he always gets teh shaft for his birthday because it's so close to Christmas. Once again I didn't really plan a birthday party for him. His birthday sneeks up on me and before I know it I can't really do anything!! He is such a wild little boy he keeps me on my toes at all times!! I love when it's nap time, I finally get to rest for a few minutes. He sure is a mamma's boy although his dad has become quite important to him. He is such a jabber jaw I just wish I could understand him better!! He loves anything with wheels even though he still would prefer a fourwheeler. He is always yellin "bootball" and then he throws some sort of ball at you usually a hard one I'm pretty sure he has come close to giving me a concussion. He loves to do animal sounds his new favorite is a macaw!! We sure are lucky to have him in our family (but not in my bed) he is so important to us. We love you so much Race Dawg!! Happy birthday!!

Keegan is on the varsity this year and I couldn't be more proud of him!! He loves to play Basketball and is quite good. I enjoy watching my cousins play because they are so close to me. I often call them my nieces and nephews and they call me Aunt Tara. We are a very close family. Back to Basketball.......we almost beat Blackfoot we were winning by 1 with 3 seconds left and then we had an oopsy we fouled the other team and they made both shots and we lost. We had some mistakes and poor reffing to say the least. Bummer!! Keegan I am so proud of you buddy thanks for being a great example for my kids they look up to you so much. We can't wait to come watch another game!! We love you!!

Ok it really has been forever since I've done a real update!! The kids are getting well.....huge!! Race is talking so much and he loves to do animal sounds ALL THE TIME. He is my energizer bunny to say the least. He pulls chairs everywhere so he can reach the stuff I put up high from him. I even have found a chair UPSTAIRS in their room a couple weeks ago!! Really??? He is way different than Macee ever was. He gets into everything and he can't stay out of our Christmas tree to save his life. He finally calls Quentin dad so that makes him very happy that he's not mom anymore!! Macee is still loving preschool and is learning more everyday. I think her favorite part is socializing though......I'm not sure where she got that from ;) !! haha She is really excited that they are having a Christmas program and they are singing she thinks she a superstar!! She had a wonderful birthday and is still very excited about her earrings she shows every stranger that we see. She is such a girl she love to have makeovers with Marlee and my mom. It makes me laugh really hard because usually she comes out looking like she has a black eye not because of them but because of her!! I am still loving my job. I just really wish I could go full time. I haven't been up to too much just trying to get ready for the holidays. I turn 28 in 2 weeks and I'm not sure how I feel about that to be honest. Oh well I guess it's a good thing since everyone else keeps getting older too!! Quentin is still at Coke and for the most part likes his job. He is keeping busy with his snowmachine trying to get it ready for when we actually have snow. He is going to take an avalanche class so that makes me feel better about him going out with his buddies. We are trying to get the motivation to start on our basement but that isn't working out too well so if anyone wants to help us get motivated bring your sledge hammer and we'll put you to work!! I sure hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving I know we did. Happy Holidays!!!

Yeah so i guess it's been a while since I have posted. My life has been crazy!! Macee is going to school and loves it (pre-school)!! She is my social bug for sure. I just hope that it won't be social time for her and she will actually learn!! (that's what I did.....friends are important haha) She is so excited for her birthday and it's sneeking right up on us. She is so excited to get her ears pierced and to have big girl earrings just like Kwynn. Race is growing so fast and is starting to talk better although your name is still mom guaranteed. I love it!!! He loves to play horses, trucks, blocks, and he loves to ride his fourwheeler. I am ready for some new favorite books. He loves for me to read to him so we read the same 5 books over and over and over you get the point!! He is definetly all boy but i love when he screams he sounds like a little girl!!! haha It's so cute!! I am ready for fall I have been so grateful for the cooler weather I actually can do stuff now without sweating my butt off!! Quentin is loving football season other than his team is really sucking once again. So my mom bought him a "damn it" doll when you get upset at your team you can basically beat up this doll and I think it's ok to yell damn it while doing it!! (just not when the kiddos are around because they will repeat it) It even has the clothes of his team the Buccaneers!! The puppy is doing really well now she is so tiny. we have been giving her littel bits of puppy food now instead of all just soft food so we are getting her ready to sell!! I'll be happy and sad to get rid of her it's been worse than having a newborn!! oh well!! Until next time.......

Holy Moly!! I am so loving my new pictures and I've only seen 5!! Yep it's true we finally broke down and had a "professional" take the kiddos pics and boy am I pleased!!! She was so patient with them even though they were not very good (ok only Race was naughty)!! As always Macee thought she was doing a photoshoot for a magazine or something she loves to have her pictures taken!! Race could have cared less if someone wanted his picture taken he just wanted to run and play!! He would sit there as long as I was playing with him and taking his sucker away from him. So I am hoping that fall is really right around the corner!! I enjoy summer as long as I'm in a place that has an air conditioner, or if I'm playing in the water. Needless to say I haven't had a good scrub down on my house because it makes me work........then I sweat and can't stop YUK!!! I hate it!! I can't wait to be able to get down on my hands and knees and clean!! Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the colors, the crisp air, and football......no not the NFL but varsity high school football GO PANTHERS!!! Yeah I should have been a super senior because I love it!! Although times have changed and it's almost like it's a shame to get up and cheer for the team. When I went to school we had a HUGE student section everywhere they went home or away!! Ok so that story was bad.......but it gets worse, way worse or better however you want to look at it. So as we were burying the dogs this morning we thought we heard Race outside so I ran around the house in the park cause that's where he goes. Well while running in the park I jumped over another puppy.......What??? Yep it's true. So I yelled to Quentin and he went to look at it. It was alive.......Holy Schmoly!!!! Yes folks it's true, we have one puppy ALIVE!!!! (note this was 2 days later that she had it, the vet was shocked) Dixie was trying to take care of it but we don't trust her with it so we will be bottle feeding it. I don't know what you call it lucky, a miracle, or just plain wild!!! It seems to be doing great and Macee and Race are so happy. Everywhere we go Macee tells everyone that gets close enough!!! So hopefully this pup stays healthy I'm not sure how much more heartache my little family can take.

Oh man what a life I have. Dixie had her puppies.......they are all dead here's the story. At 3:30 in the morning on Thursday Macee came screaming to me that she had a squirrel in her bed. (haha kinda funny right) Well when I finally came to I realized Dixie was having her puppies. I woke up Quentin to have him help me I felt like somthing was wrong. That's when Shiz hit the fan!!! The one we found in teh hallway was still in the sack and dead the one on Macee's bed was crying and doing fine. So we tended to them and I tried really hard to get the dead one to come back i rubbed it and tried to get it warm......nothing so I wrapped it up and put it in a box. I went to get Macee's sheets off of her bed and found another one in it's sack dead. By this point I'm wreck literally. I kept thinking why didn't Dixie do anything??? They both were looking pretty gross (I won't go into detail it was gross trust me.) So we all went back to bed around 5. Well at 10:30 that morning I opened the door downstairs and she had just had another one......yep dead!! ahhhh ok did I mention I was a wreck?? So the day went on and I helped Dixie feed the one that was alive she did ok but not great. I was getting ready for work and just leaving when she pulled one from underneath my bed WHAT?????? YUK!!!!!! DEAD!!!!!! So she had 5. Not to bad if they were all alive. Today I went out and got some groceries and when I got home I went down to check on the puppy and to see if I could get Dixie to feed him. She did good, but started to get aggressive with it. I told her "no" and kind of pushed her away. I ran upstairs to go use the restroom, then I had decided I was going to take care of the puppy because I din't want anything to happen to it. I went back down not 2 minutes later and Dixie killed it........WTF????? AHHHHHH I lost it I was a mess I kicked Dixie out and haven't looked at her since. So now in the box there will be all 5 puppies. (yeah gross that we didn't burry them yet I was waiting for Quentin and we both got busy with the kids and work) So here I sit trying to figure out why. I called the vet and she said it was probably hormones making her aggressive and that when the dog squeeked she thought of it as a toy, like a cat and mouse type thing, or maybe she thought it was sick, or maybe just pissed off. The vet told me that I needed to get her fixed because it could happen again. Ahhhh darn dog. I hope I can get over this trauma so I can love her again because as of right now I'm so mad I want her gone.

Happy Anniversary baby!! It's been 8 LONG years!! haha I am so lucky to have my husband he is so good to us. I thought I would list 8 things we have done together in these 8 years.

1. We have lived in 2 places. 1 home and 1 very ghetto apartment!!
2. We have had numerous vehicles. Toyota Tercel, Pontiac Grand Am, Ford Explorer, Pontiac Grand Prix (current), Chevy 2500 (current).
3. 2 Amazing children. Macee (4) Race (1).
4. We've both put on a few pounds.......me more than him!!! Yikes!!!
5. Jobs Quentin- Coca Cola numerous different position but same company our whole marriage!! Tara-Nanny for Dr. Wathne, Crafts and Frames, Idaho Central Credit Union, Sierras, The Gallows and currently District 6 Juvenile Detention Center.
6. 3 animals 1 dog Dixie, 2 cats Jazmyn and Blackjack. (Jazmyn is going to a new home today though).
7. We have picked up a new sport that we both love to watch......MMA fighting.
8. Ok that last one was a stretch......we're pretty boring people!!! We are kinda home bodies because we are poor but we love to be together with our families and go camping or just hang out.

Thanks for 8 great years baby I can't wait to spend forever together!! I love you so much!! I couldn't find any good pictures from our wedding one of my discs is missing I've gotta get organized!!

I have been horrible at posting lately. I feel like I have so much to do and then I get overwhelmed and don't finish anything I've been working on. I really just wanted to take a minute and thank all of the fathers in my life. (It's kinda sounding like I'm bearing my testimony!) My wonderful husband that I love so much. He is for sure my best friend I love him so much. I don't think I could have picked a better dad for my kids he truely loves them with his whole heart. He takes good care of us and supports us in the decisions that we make. We love him so much!! Thanks for being wonderful!! My dad, he is such a great support to us. My kids love him so much and he shows them just as much love back. He truely is a great example to everyone around. He plays many roles Husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, cousin, friend........woodworker, hunter, fisherman, camp chef king the list goes on for days. We love you dad thanks for everything you do for us!! Grandpa Dave is always there when the kids need a good tease. He loves his grandkids so much. He loves taking them on fourwheeler rides to show them his new crops. Macee really likes to go and stay with grandpa Dave and Lisa and just have some one on one time with them. He is a great guy and we are luck to be able to call him Grandpa!! Papa Chuck aka the "fun grandpa" he loves throwing the kids around. Making a burrito out of Macee and a blanket, or wrestling around on the ground with Race. We always tease that he'll give the kids a dollar if they will ride a bike down the stairs. He keeps us on our feet all the time. He is so good to us and our kids love him so much. There is never a dull moment with papa around. We love him and are so thankful for him!! I could not forget my Grandpa Keller. I miss him everyday and I wish he was here to tease Race like he did Macee (Shopko). He was my dad until I was 6 he taught me many things. I can still remember sitting out on the front porch with him eating watermelon and looking at the stars. He was one of the finest men I have ever met. He was so forgiving and loving to his family, we are all his pride and joy. I hated seeing him hurt in his last few years I am so glad that I will see him again someday. We love you so much grumpy!! Thank you to all of my uncles, cousins and brothers. You all are great examples to my children and we love you all so much!! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

I took some more pictures of Macee Kae and this is how they turned out. I thought they looked pretty good!! I'm proud of them and her. She is such a great girl and even though I sometimes get mad (at least once a day....oops) I can't even imagine my life without her. She has been such a blessing to us, and such a great helper with her little brother. I love to wake up to her cute smile and her saying "mommy I'm hungry" first thing in the morning. Oh man I love these babies!!!!!!! I think that might be the understatement of the year!! haha!! I have been gone this last week and wanted to upload these pictures for you to see, but I didn't have the disk so while Race is asleep I decided to hurry and do it. We borrowed Papa Chucks camera a couple of weeks ago and had some fun. Unfortunetly the weather was not on our side of things. We managed to get a few in but nothing AMAZING!! (ok so all pictures of my kids are amazing we just didn't get any "professional" quality) I can't wait til this Friday when I am done with my training and can get back to my regular routine. Although it has been nice to be able to do whatever I want (on a locked up campus) when I want!! I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do!!

That's right my sweetheart turns 30 today!!! I tease him because he is just starting to get a few grays in his hair. He blames it on me, I blame it on the kids and his age!! Anywho, I just want to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I love him so much!! He does so much for us, we really are lucky to have him. So I thought I would tell you 5 random things about him!!

1- He has recently taken up fourwheeling and snowmachines. Now when I say taken up I mean thats basically all he does on the weekends. He goes to auctions to find some to fix up and make money (thanks Nick). And he rides all the time!!

2- He is not a Mr. Fixit he tries to be but he still has to get lots of help. He is getting alot better as of lately!!

3- He loves to play video games but has given up alot of the time to be with his kids.

4- He loves ALL sports!! Mostly watching (because he's getting old) but he can tell you about anything you want to know. He is a great bowler and has many high scores in the "Bowling Hall of Fame"!! I hope to one day go and see them in person!!

5- He would do anything for me or his kids. He usually puts up a big fight, but almost always gives in. Thanks honey we love you so much!! Thanks for putting up with us and our wild ways!!

So I am just starting to "coupon" and I am really liking it so far!! I have posted some of the link I use on my page. They really make it so anyone can do it. I went to Kmart because they are doubling their coupons this week. I have been wanting the Soft and Scrub pads. They had a coupon for them in the paper a couple weeks ago. So I braved the weather today and went. Haha I got the last 5!! oh yeah for FREE!! If I were to go buy them it would have cost me about $15. I also got 3 Gilette mens body wash, 2 Dove womens body wash, 4 kids Reach toothbrushes. I handed her a $10 bill, and I still have $3 and some change. I got 14 things for less than $7 what??? So I've really been wanting "Mother of the Year" for along time now and yesterday I finally got it. To start off Race had been sick for a week and a half or so. I kept thinking oh he'll get better I'm not going to take him in he'll be fine. So finally last night I took him in. He had an ear infection!!! Oh great I kept putting it off and it really was something not serious but still an ear infection!!! The Dr. gave me a script and I took it to Walmart to get it filled. As we are waiting Race is hanging out in the cart in the back. He won't sit in the seat with the strap he can get out. I have a little snake I guess!! So I stop to look at something and PLOP!! Race fell right out of the cart!! He cried for like a minute then stopped with only one little bump on his head. So I just kept watching him to make sure he didn't act any different. This morning when he woke up he had kind of a limp but after he uses it he is fine. I think his poor little body is stiff. Ahhhhh that is why I think I should win "Mother of the Year"!!!

Come on who let's their kid fall out of a cart?? I guess this mom!! Other than that excitement I have an extremely stiff neck from picking Race up wrong. Life is always hectic and I have finally decided it never really slows down with 2 kids, work and cleaning along with everything else. You mothers that stay at home and have more thatn 1 or 2 kids power to you I don't know how you do it!! I guess to earn my title I better go rescue my kids from each other they are crying and fighting upstairs. Gotta go!!

So I'm not doing so well with my once a week blog. Last week was a horrible week for me. Ok so lets start the week of the 15th. At work I can get 19 hours a week. I only had 9 hours that week and was very bummed because well.....I love money!! I almost always get at least 15 hours so yeah big difference. Last week I was only scheduled for like 3 so I picked up a few extras thanks mom for watching the kiddos. Then a guy at work gave me a few hours so things were looking up I had like 9 or so hours now. Then I got a phone call from a girl that was sick. So all in all I ended up with 36 hours. Not to mention I was fighting a horrible cold I really wanted to die!! Oh yeah the hours weren't what you guys do it was 6pm-6am. Don't get me wrong that shift is really not that bad, but I was sick and I didn't get enought sleep 4 hours between 2 nights um yeah and kids!!! oh well it's over and I already spent the money!! I got some new sheets that are so pretty Dark Chocolate Brown Egyptian Cotton 1000 thread count. I am so excited!! I am pretty sure I will be making up lost sleep when they get here (sorry Quentin they are your kids too)!!

Two weeks ago I decided to take on a big project. I have been painting the main level of our house and decluttering a bit!! In my house this is a huge project. There are many times I just want to take the roof off and dump my house out!! With 2 kids and a husband I gather lots of STUFF. Plus I am my grandmas girl I collect alot by myself!! Here soon we are going to finally start our basement remodel!! yuk!! It will probably take forever!! It will be so nice though it will make us get rid of lots!! yipee!! well thats all for now I better get doing dishes while Race is asleep he loves the dishwasher!!

My poor baby hit his little eye so hard on the coffee table yesterday. He cried for so long and I thought for sure it was going to split. It immediately turned almost black and got so big. I was just waiting, but so glad it didn't I would have probably cried harder than him. I really didn't want to take him to get it fixed because I probably have passed out or something!! Today it looks pretty good other than his blue eyeshadow!! haha I'm sure this is not going to be the last post with injuries from my little man!!

Brown Sugar Pound Cupcakes with Brown Butter Glaze

Cupcakes
3C sifted flour
2t baking powder
1/2 t salt
8 ounces (2 sticks) unsalted softened butter
2 1/4 c light brown sugar packed
4 large eggs room temperature
3/4 c lowfat buttermilk

Brown Butter Glaze
4 ounces (1 stick) unsalted butter
2c confectioners sugar
2t vanilla extract
2-4 T whole milk

Preheat oven to 325. Wisk flour, baking powder, and salt together. In a different bowl cream together butter, brown sugar til light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add the flour mixture in 3 addition alternating with buttermilk beginning and ending with flour. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 25 minutes.
In a saucepan heat the butter over medium heat until golden brown. Carefully pour in a bowl leaving the sediment behind. Add sugar, vanilla, and milk to the butter stir til smooth. If glaze is too thick add more milk.

Macee loves to be my little helper in the kitchen and she's getting pretty good it's so fun to have her help. She is the one that decorated ours so they are quite fancy. I got this recipe out of the Idaho State Journal today and we had everything to make them so I went ahead and did it. When I first saw the recipe it looked way too hard I thought you have to cook the glaze oh great but they were truely easy. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!! this one will be in my recipe box for a long time!!

Well we haven't been up to much lately just the regular routine. Wait the only routine I have is not getting anything accomplished. It seems to be going well for me my house is a mess laundry everywhere. Ya know the only person it's really bothering right now is Quentin which is funny because he doesn't do any cleaning!! Oh well!! On the other hand I have been going to the gym and not much is happening with weight loss....I guess you have to watch what you eat too, that's the part I do not do well with. Anyways, I signed up for the 12 week challenge well I am happy to say 1 week has passed and I haven't started yet so I am now on the 11 week challenge. You would think that a cruise would motivate you (that's the prize) but I have not been motivated to do anything. This week I am going to try to lose a few pounds. Since not much has been happening I thought I would do something fun that I have seen other people doing!!

1. I love to sing I don't do it very much but I love it.
2. I am hating my husbands current obssesion with fourwheelers and snow machines. He's lucky that I love him.
3. I wish I would have gone to cosmetology when I was supposed to....but I'm thinking of going to be a nail tech this summer we'll see it might have to wait a few more years.

14. I love to craft, I just never have the time or space these days.
15. I was a nanny for a doctor here in Pocatello when I was first married.
16. I love getting my nails done. I bite my real ones darn it!!
17. I have 3 half sisters, 2 half brothers, 5 step brothers, 2 step sisters. But if you ask me most likely I will say I have 3 brothers becuase that is what I was raised with.
18. I admire my sister in law Erika. She is one of the most amazing people I know. She is so thoughtful, and caring I wish I could be more like her. I am so thankful that she is in our family.

20. I enjoy watching MMA and UFC Mostly when my boy Forrest fights!! :)

As you can see we have been having lots of fun. Macee had her first recital and did great!! We were really proud of her she was so cute!! They did a cheer and then they had a little dance. Poor little Race has had fever and has been throwing up on me. I hope nobody else has been going through this it is not fun, and I'm sure it wasn't in the deal I signed when I brought him home. Macee almost never pukes. Oh well I guess I will still love him.
I am still loving my job, and the pay!! Quentin is still selling coke out on the streets haha!! He is still working for coke and I think he really likes it, but there are bad days and good days just like with any other job. He has gotten a few new accounts this year that should really boost his sales which in turn boost my shopping habits, he thinks I'm crazy that I don't even know what a savings account is!! Silly boy who has those?? I just got teeth whitening trays, and I am whitening my teeth as I type. I am what some people call a multi-tasker!! Other than that we have been up to the same things just staying really busy.
My goal is to post once a week let's see how I do!!

Grandma Kerry and Grandpa Chris

We almost didn't get to go to Grandma Kerry's house this year. We had a blizzard and the roads were terrible. We took the truck and had no problems, thank you 4 wheel drive. All of my moms family was there so it was really fun for the kids to play with each other. We even got to see Shelby which by the way is beautiful she looks like a little doll!! We love her and want her to move closer to us hint hint!! Mom and Dad of course spoiled the kids with toys and tons of clothes. We are so thankful to have a wonderful extended family on my mom's side we get to see them all the time and are so close to them it makes it really nice. Our kids love to play, and to watch the older ones play with the little ones is awesome. We are so happy that we will have 2 new additions next year, Erika if you hurry we can have 3 haha!! Oh yeah none of these additions are me by the way!! Thank you everyone for everything!!

Grandpa Dave and Lisa

We used to go to Daves house for Christmas Eve, but with 2 kids and dogs and cats it got too hard to be away for that long. So now Dave and Lisa get a room at the Red Lion here in Pocatello and we go out to eat and go swimming at the hotel. It is alot of fun for the kids to play in the pool although this year they had just replaced the heater core and it was cold. After sitting in the hot tub for a while Nick dared me to jump in the pool so being dumb I did, no WE did!! It was about 70 degrees but it was freakin cold!! Macee thought she was brave too so she hopped right in with us!! Brave little woman!! We got lots of fun new things!! We had breakfast at our house on Christmas morning, then we all went on our way!! Thanks guys!!

Christmas at Grandma Lindas and Papa Chuck

We always have "Christmas" the Sunday before the actual Christmas at Linda and Chucks house. They do a great job at spoiling us every year!! Linda made breakfast and as always it was delicious. Macee got 2 wipe off books to help her learn her ABC's, a new helmet, a video game system for kids (it's like a Wii but it teaches her ABC's), clothes and lots of little treasures that she loves. Race got a Noisy Table that teaches in Spanish and English, some clothes and lots of little treasures. Quentin and I got a Volcano with legs for our Dutch ovens, and some treasures. By the way I am calling them "treasures" cause there's lots of little things that I can't remember.
We had a great time as always. Thank You very much!!

So I haven't got my Christmas pictures up yet. I am going to try to get to it today!! My kids make it hard for me to blog sometimes. Hopefully Race will take a good long nap. I have tonz of pictures to share with everyone and all of our Christmas parties.

Christmas at Lindas

Oh my heaven where has time gone?? It feels like yesterday I was at the hospital having my baby boy. He was a whopping 7lbs. 2 oz. and 20 1/4 inches. He seemed so big to me, compared to Macee he was. He has been such a joy to have in our home sometimes I think what would I do without him......then i make a list of all the things and it always seems much better to have him here than to have a clean house, or all the laundry done, or even making dinner. Race has been alot harder than Macee ever was but I keep telling myself he'll get over it. He walks all over the place and yells mama at me and tugs at my legs until I pick him up. So most of my day is spent holding him and most days that's just fine, because I know that soon enough I won't be able to do that. I love my little man so much and those big cheeks are so kissable.

We had a little party for him last night with the grandparents. Do to the weather the only grandparents that made it were Grandma Linda and Papa Chuck. Nick and Candace were here all day with us which we loved. Papa Chuck starts a college savings account for the kids when they turn 1 and Dave and Lisa started a savings account for him also. He got a few toys and clothes but we really didn't need much since we just had Christmas. He hated that we wanted him to put his hands in his cake and he started crying so we cleaned him up and let him play. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives and we love him so much!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Where has the time gone I cant believe I'm getting this old already!! (Mom your still 25 in my eyes, don't worry!!) It is crazy to me to think that I have been graduated for almost 9 years. Ahh!! Who would have guessed that I would be married and have 2 kids. My husband and I own our own house. I still run around with some of my best friends from high school (and one that was in jr. high)!! They mean the world to me and I'm so glad that I have them if I ever need anything. I have the best extended family a girl could ask for so many cousins, aunts, and uncles, grandma's and grandpa's, even neices and nephews. They all make me feel young and so happy. Well sometimes, Macee makes comments about me needing to go to the gym to get rid of my "kinda fat tummy". Thanks Moo for always keeping me in check. I mean really what more could a 27 year old woman want in her life. I feel very blessed that I have what I have. I thought I would post a few pictures of me just because it is my birthday and all!!!

Thanksgiving

So Thanksgiving has come and gone and I feel like I need to post some of the things I am thankful for. First off my family, my mom and dad are amazing. As I watch the kids here at work it makes me appreciate them even more. They were always there for me and still are. Who knows were I would be without them they are definetly two of my very favorite people in the world. My mom is a great example, she helps me learn to have patience even when I am at whits end. She takes my kids when I have to work or just need a break. I hope to one day be just like her she is one of my best friends and definetly my best shopping partner. My dad is always doing something to help me all I have to do is ask, thanks dad. My husband is for sure the love of my life!! I appreciate the things he does for me and the kids. He works very hard so I can spend most of my time with Macee and Race. He is always right by my side when I am having trouble with something he is truely what I always wanted in a husband plus some. I love you Quentin. My children are some of my greatest blessings. They are the reason I wake up in the morning. I would do absolutely do anything for them. Those cute little faces can cheer anyone up for sure. I am very thankful for my friends listening to me complain when things get tough. I am thankful for the gospel in my life even though I am not active I still feel my Savior's love everyday. I have so many things to be thankful for I feel so blessed to be where I am in my life right now.
